Brandi J Williams is an Associate at Goldman Sachs in the Finance Division. She has over 10 years experience within the Financial Services Industry including 6 years of Audit experience.
Brandi joined the NABA Philadelphia chapter in July 2010. She served on the chapter's executive board in several positions including Elections Chair (2011), Assistant Treasurer (2012), Treasurer (FY2013 and 2014), Awards Banquet Chair (FY2015 and 2016) and 1st VP in 2017. Brandi is currently President of the Philadelphia Chapter and looks forward to connecting with members, building partnerships and community engagement. Brandi graduated from Strayer University with a Master’s degree in Accounting.
Darrell Pacheco, CFP
Darrell Pacheco is a Financial Advisor in Vanguard’s Personal Advisor Services (PAS). In this role, he provides comprehensive financial advice and ongoing investment management for high-net-worth individual clients and families. He has served on the board of trustees of Dickinson College and presently sits on the alumni council. Additionally, he serves on a non-profit board as the Vice President for NABA Philadelphia, Inc. Darrell received an Associates of Arts degree with Honors in Business Administration from Northampton Community College. He also received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Departmental Honors in Political Science from Dickinson College. In addition, Darrell holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses and a Certified Financial Planner, CFP®, license.
Immediate Past President
Rautz Marc is a Director of Operation Risk Management at Prudential Financial supporting the Annuities business. In this role, he supports different business groups in understanding their business’ objectives, identifying risks, evaluating controls, monitoring issue resolution and reporting activities to senior leaders. He supports several functional areas such as Actuarial and Finance.
Prior to joining Prudential, Rautz spent two years at KPMG, in their Financial Service group, performing assurance services for Asset Management, Real Estate, and Private Equity clients. Rautz received his undergraduate and master degrees in Finance from Temple University.
Rautz is currently the Immediate Past President of National Association of Black Accountants-Philadelphia Chapter. He resides in Philadelphia, PA with his wife and two sons.
Rachel Hooks, CPA
2nd Vice President
.Rachel Hooks is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and works as a Finance Manager at Pfizer, Inc. She has over 10 years of Accounting and Finance experience in different capacities for multiple industries. Hooks graduated from The University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, minor in Spanish and a Master of Business Administration in Finance. She is the Creator/Director of C. L. Ratliff & Company, a program that prepares high schools students for the workforce and college. As an active member of the National Association of Black Accountants Philadelphia chapter, the motto “Lifting as We Climb”, speaks to her passion of giving back.
Teka Johnson, CPA
Teka is a certified public accountant (CPA) who works as a Senior Internal Auditor at Impax Laboratories, a pharmaceutical company. Before starting at Impax she worked as a Senior Associate in the audit practice at KPMG, LLP. She graduated from Penn State University in December 2011 with a Bachelors’ and Masters’ degree in Accountancy. Teka served on the NABA ACAP committee in FY’16 and FY’17 and is serving on the NABA Philadelphia Executive Board as the Treasurer in FY’19.
Whitney Russell is currently an Assoc. Staff Accountant at Exelon: PECO, working in both general and regulatory accounting. Prior to working at Exelon: PECO,
Whitney worked at Deloitte and Touché for approximately 2 years, as an audit assistant in her busy season and a money laundering business analyst in her off season. In June 2017, Whitney was awarded by Caribbean American Heritage 30 under 30. In addition to NABA, Whitney also spends a great deal of her time volunteering and mentoring youths within her church and her community, volunteering in
organizations such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters and Back on My Feet. Whitney is currently in the process of completing her MBA in analytical Intelligence form the University of Bridgeport. Whitney lives by Colin Powell’s quote “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure”. She believes that through hard work and consistency everyone can reach their
full potential in life.
Takisha Stewart CPA
Takisha Stewart is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who works as a Senior Accountant at PECO Energy Company. Prior to joining PECO she worked as a Manager in the audit practice at Ernst & Young LLP.
Takisha graduated from Villanova University in 2010 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.S. in Accountancy. Takisha is the liaison between NABA and PECO and coordinates all events done in conjunction with the NABA Philadelphia Chapter including the Women’s Luncheon and ACAP site visits.
.Christian Nshimiyimana is a Sr. auditor at Wells Fargo Audit Services in Philadelphia. He is on the Capital Risk team. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Prior to joining WFAS, Christian worked for KPMG as an audit associate and Chubb insurance as a Schedule F reporting associate.
Cynthony Dench, CPA
Cynthony Dench is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania and a graduate Middle Tennessee State University with a major in Accounting and minors in Business Administration and Spanish.She also holds a Master of Science degree, with a primary concentration in Accounting, and a secondary concentration in Information Systems. Cynthony began her career as an external auditor with Crowe Horwath LLP in Nashville, TN, and later worked with McGladrey (now RSM) upon relocating to Philadelphia in 2012. Cynthony spent nearly two years working for the City of Philadelphia, first as an auditor in the City Controller’s Office, and later in the Department of Revenue as a Revenue Examiner Supervisor. She is currently employed at Comcast, as a Manager in the Accounts Payable Shared Services group. In her current role, she oversees a team of expense report auditors, and manages the company’s expense reporting system and corporate card program. Cynthony has been a member of the Philadelphia Professional Chapter on and off since 2012 as a general member, and recommitted to the Chapter in 2016. She spearheaded the 3rd Annual Women’s Luncheon, held in June of 2017, is excited to serve on the board as the Parliamentarian for fiscal year 2018.
Aleisha Ivey CPA, CGMA
Community Relations Director
Aleisha Ivey is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who is currently employed as a Financial Controller in the private healthcare industry. Prior to her current role, she worked in public accounting as a financial consultant for seven years. She graduated from Howard University with a Bachelors of Business
Administration and Villanova University with a Masters of Accounting. She has been an active member of NABA for many years, previously serving as the Corresponding Secretary of the Philadelphia Chapter and the Program Director for the Accounting Career Awareness Program (ACAP).
Christina is a Senior Tax Analyst in GTM’s lead tax practice in Wayne, PA. She is responsible for tax accounting and tax compliance at the federal, state and local levels for large corporate and pass-through entity clients. Prior to joining GTM, Christina began her career at Ernst & Young. She specialized in individual income tax compliance. Her career goal is to be a strong tax professional that fosters strong relationships with clients while
providing quality service. She is currently working on obtaining her CPA license.
Christina is a Philadelphia resident who loves to work with kids in her free time. She is a member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, mentoring her “little sister” for over five years. She is also a mom to two beautiful, out-going pit-bulls. Her stretch career goal is opening her own non-profit organization
for young women interested in business.
Khalil Muhammad, CPA

Khalil, currently works as a Contract Rep for Canon Solutions America specializing in government contract
compliance. He formally worked for BDO as auditor staff. He graduated from Temple University with his degree
in Accounting. He now serves the NABA Philadelphia board as the Director of Professional Education and
hopes to supply the tools for all NABA Philly members to fulfill their professional goals.

Christine Jones is the Financial Manager for Temple University Libraries. She received her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking & Finance from Bowie State University, and is currently enrolled in the Adult & Organizational Development masters program at Temple University. Christine has over 10 years of extensive finance & accounting experience within the Non-Profit, Public, and Private sectors. After volunteering with NABA on the Awards Banquet committee for two years, she will now serve as Chair. Christine plans to continue to make this event a successful one.
Matthew Rambaran CPA, MBA

Matthew Rambaran is an assurance Manager at RSM and offers closely held and newly formed companies a wide range of financial, tax, complex accounting and advising strategies and technology guidance to help business owners achieve their goal of growing and monetizing their business. Matthew serves as a director of RSM's African American Community of Excellence (AACE); a Culture, Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) group. Matthew received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Rowan University and a Masters of Business Administration from Thomas Edison State University. He holds a Certified Public Accounting license in
New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs, Pennsylvania
Institute of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Matthew is active at Rowan University serving as a mentor to accounting students through Rowan’s Accounting Mentorship program. He resides in Trenton New Jersey and serves as treasurer for the Old Mill Hill Society a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to “historic preservation within Trenton’s Mill Hill Community. Matthew looks forward to serving NABA’s Philly Chapter.
Rodney Newton MBA, CISSP
Resource Development Director
Rodney Newton is an Information Security professional in Wells Fargo’s Internal Audit department. Prior to joining Wells Fargo he spent 5 years at DSSP Consulting where he serviced several Department of Defense clients, including the Defense Logistics Agency, the Army, and the Navy. Rodney graduated from Rosemont College with a BS in Accounting in 2002 and later an MBA in E-Commerce in 2003. He holds several information security certifications including Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), and the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Rodney joined the NABA Philly chapter in 2016 and currently serves as the Resource Development Director.

Algreen Bakasa is a ETF Model Portfolios Product Manager in Vanguard Financial Advisor Services™ where he is responsible for operational oversight and distribution strategy of Vanguard’s ETF Model Portfolios. Prior to his current role, Mr. Bakasa was an Analyst in Vanguard Corporate Strategy, serving in an internal management consulting capacity to Vanguard’s senior leadership team. Mr. Bakasa joined Vanguard in 2013 through the Vanguard Accelerated Development Program, an advanced leadership development program. Following his completion of the program, Mr. Bakasa was a leader in Vanguard Personal Advisor Services. Mr. Bakasa serves on the Board of Triskeles Inc. Mr. Bakasa earned a BBA in Finance from Temple University’s FOX School of Business. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
Student Member Services Director
Alonna Whittle is currently an internal auditor for First American Title Insurance Company, the largest subsidiary of First American Financial Corporation. Alonna works with the Title Agent Audit Group to perform audits of First American independent contractors that sell title insurance policies. Alonna previously served as an auditor at Baker Tilly where she has worked for two years. In this role, Alonna performed financial statement and single audits for middle market clients in the commercial and healthcare industries, as well as performed audits for Employee Benefit Plans in the tri-state area. Alonna graduated from Temple University with a BBA in Accounting. Alonna has been an active member in NABA since college and is looking forward to continuing her involvement by giving back to students in this NABA role.
Marcella Singley CPA
Awards Banquet Chair
Marcella Singley, CPA, is the Awards Banquet Chairperson for the NABA Philadelphia Chapter. Ms. Singley is a Senior Associate in Assurance at Ernst & Young (EY). At EY she supervises the financial statement and internal controls over financial reporting audits of public and private companies. Marcella’s main clients include entities from the real estate and manufacturing industries. Marcella’s involvement with NABA began in high school, when she attended the Accounting Careers Awareness Program. She went on to charter the current student chapter at the Camden campus of Rutgers University. Marcella graduated with high honors with a double major in Accounting and Finance. In her free time Marcella enjoys traveling the globe and mentoring the future leaders in business.
