‘Tis the season for giving!! And this year, the NABA Philadelphia chapter is leading a huge effort to bring Christmas to a few deserving children in our area!
On November 7th, we kicked-off our Christmas Toy Drive to support theVillage! This organization started as a conventional orphanage in Southwest Philadelphia in 1877 and has now transformed into a full treatment center for emotionally-troubled children and hurting families. Their mission is to promote the healing of the spirits of children, families and communities broken by trauma including violence, neglect, addiction, poverty, mental illness, racism and other serious societal problems.
theVillage will provide Christmas presents for over 500 children in their program ages 0 -18 and NABA Philly is looking forward to supporting this effort. So please help us reach our donation goal by providing an unwrapped gift (per the wishlist guidelines) or a monetary donation.
Our Christmas toy drive will run from November 7th – December 7th. The final collection point for toys will be at our Annual Holiday Party. So, we hope that you can join us for the final toy count and the best party of the season!
If you have any questions on where you can drop off your unwrapped gift prior to the NABA Holiday Party, please email email@example.com.
